Women Empowerment Programme:

As we know that, Women Empowerment is one of the Millennium Development Goal (M.D.G.) fixed by the United Nations Organization (U.N.O.).We know much better that women confines approximately 50 % of total population of our country. We thought that we must pay our attention for overall development of rural women. For achieving our thought and MDG of UNO, we collaborated and associated ourselves with the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Ranchi, Jharkhand under the programme of Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) and NABARD, Jharkhand under the SHG-BLP Programme for the formation and development of Self-Help Group. In this way, we continuously empowering rural women bringing overall development for them. As far as SGSY and SHG-BLP programme are concerned, we have formed and developed 105 SHGs in the Silli and Sonahatu block of Ranchi district. Besides it, we have been forming and developing SHGs in the Chas Block of Bokaro district using our own resources. In this regard, we have formed 50 SHGs in the Chas Block of Bokaro District. Hence, under the Women Empowerment Programme, approximately 3000 individual women have been benefited by our own effort.

Besides it, we have provided sewing and weaving training programme to those women who are coming under the BPL Category. Approximately 1000 individual women have been imparted training by our own effort and they are generating income after getting training. In this financial year, our target is to get 5000 individual women training under this head.
